The Spencerport Public Works Department serves the community by providing refuse, recycling and bulk refuse collection, sanitary sewer main maintenance, storm water drainage upkeep and installations, road work and sidewalk maintenance. Seasonally the DPW provides landscaping and maintenance of our parks and public area, leaf pick up, Christmas tree removal and snow plowing. The village maintains a list of street trees that are located in the public right of way and annually inspects for damage and disease.

Sanitary Sewer Dos & Don’ts

The Village of Spencerport maintains three pump stations; on Ballard Ave, Glen Cairn Court and Village Walk Circle. These stations pump sewage to a point where it can flow by gravity to the sewage treatment plant. When rags, clothing, diapers, kitty litter, etc. are flushed, over time, it causes the pump to burn out. Please be responsible with what gets flushed and goes down the drain.
